Coaching Process

Coaching is a client-driven, thought-provoking, inquiry-based, solutions-focused process. I create a safe yet challenging space for you to identify steps to achieve your dreams. You will leave each session with an action plan. I provide accountability and thought partnership – you do the growth work between sessions.

What to expect from the coaching process:

Consultation Call (30 minutes)

I define and outline the coaching process and criteria for clients with whom I work. Together we begin to consider if working together is a fit. There is no charge for this call.

Discovery Call (up to 2 hours)

This is primarily an information gathering session. You tell me about the life you want to live while I listen and ask questions. We determine if working together is a fit and discuss next steps. There is no charge for this call and no obligation to proceed further.

Coaching Sessions (generally 1 hour)

Together we’ll dream, brainstorm, dream bigger, establish goals, check in on progress. You will leave each session with a plan and your commitment to do the work.

I rarely coach anyone for less than 2 months or 8 sessions. I realize that is a commitment, and that is exactly why I don’t do it. Changing your thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors IS a commitment and it is not instantaneous. When you go through the coaching process, you need time to learn, to implement, and to assess. Though there are exceptions, most changes take time. For you to get the most out of your coaching, a longer commitment is required.
